Why take care of your car’s paint
There are two types of cars. Those who take excessive care of their cars and keep them in like-new condition, and those who treat their cars like tools and neglect maintenance, including the paint.
Why should you wash and wax your car if it\’s going to get dusty anyway?
Maintaining a car\’s paint job is not just for the sake of the car\’s appearance or your business card.
If a car is simply left in direct sunlight for a few days, the sun\’s rays will begin to act on the paint, causing it to fade and the paint to lose its protective qualities.
Dust and other small contaminants on surfaces can damage the paint over time, creating fine scratches. These scratches reduce the protective function of the car body, and over time, corrosion of the sheet metal becomes inevitable, which is a more significant problem.
Car body wax prevents the undesirable effects of solar equipment and fills individual scratches and small cracks in the paint. By reflecting rays from the sun and repelling water, car bodies are protected from corrosion
.
So how do you wax your car?
1. The basic rule is to wash the entire body properly. It is recommended to use a car shampoo containing wax.
]
2. after shampooing, use softened rinse water, which can be found at any car wash.
]
3. after rinsing, to avoid unsightly gray stains on the car body, use deerskin washcloths to remove water droplets.
4. once the water is completely dry, apply the wax in a circular motion
.
5. when the wax is dry, polish with a dry microfiber cloth.
Rings, belts, bracelets, etc. should be removed before washing to avoid damaging the paint.
If the car has black asphalt stains, they can be easily removed with a cloth soaked in technical gasoline
.
Waxing should be done in the shade, not in direct sunlight.
Not only will the car look cleaner, it will be protected from the weather and the paint will last longer.
